One man can often maintain a web site on the right track whereas a group of people can steer it in circles, and take things in a ridiculous direction. I'd recommend continuing as a one man operation, but get a group of advisors that can help advise, and help with some maintaining, and then can take over when the time comes when you no longer can manage it.
